Nexus Power seeks an Industrial Sales Account Manager for our growing electrical manufacturer’s representative agency. The position requires a strong independent, customer focused sales person with the ability to listen to customer needs, provide technical guidance and is detailed oriented. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with assigned Distributors, Contractors and Industrial customers, at all levels of their organizations Report sales progress/status to Nexus’ Sales Director Conduct technical presentations to create preference Perform take-offs and develop cost effective proposals from project plans and specifications and negotiate and secure project orders Provide training, joint sales calls and applications support Own customer relationships Create and manage key channel and end user relationships Create and manage vendor relationships Identify and execute a growth strategy within product segments and vertical markets Minimum Qualifications
Ability to work effectively in a team environment Enthusiasm for solving problems Multitask with excellent attention to detail and follow up Able to learn and adapt quickly Accountable to sales goals Possess a valid driver’s license Preferred Qualifications
Electrical industry experience Local market knowledge of key channel partners/end users Local market knowledge of industry market segments Prior sales experience, account management, sales management and demonstrated market growth Solid understanding of job profitability Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents Excels at negotiating, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and working under pressure Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, and familiarity of electronic take-off and estimating programs strongly preferred Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is Base Salary with a year-end bonus based on business success. Benefits plan includes Medical, 401(k), Long Term Disability, Paid Time Off. Equal Opportunity Employer
