BEPC is actively looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s site in Phoenix, AZ. This is a W2 contract – 6 months with possible extensions. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Pay rate: $35.25 - $41.25 /hour, determined based on experience. Work Model: Onsite role.
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C, C2H will not be considered.
Overview
BEPC seeks a highly motivated Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and integration of highly complex systems for APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) gas turbine engines. The role focuses on creating system solutions that meet evolving customer needs throughout the product lifecycle—from business development through end of life. Responsibilities
Production/Factory Support: Resolve production support cases and release associated Engineering Change Notices; provide technical substantiation of design changes related to production and factory support; guide other engineers and partner with project engineers to manage workload for support cases; collaborate with engineering support teams (component, materials, mechanical, certification, test services, configuration, and data management). Design & Integration: Manage Approved Source List drawings or build-to-print drawings, ensuring supplier drawings/parts meet drawing and governing requirements; reconcile product requirements with system-level or customer requirements; integrate product design into larger systems, understanding both component and system-level functions; lead supplier, customer, and project engineering communication concerning product development and production support; participate in planning and scheduling, integrating supplier schedules into program timelines, and setting milestones; author and track coordination memos and responses to suppliers and customers. Compliance and Assurance: Ensure compliance for design assurance of Airborne Electronic Hardware; provide nuclear hardening design assurance for Electronic Control Units. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field. Experienced engineer with expertise in product development, systems integration, and production/factory support for aerospace products. Experience with electronic control units, electronic subassemblies, sensors, effectors, and control system components used in safety-critical systems such as gas turbine engine controls. Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, fuel, hydraulic, and/or actuation systems. Candidate Questions (to be answered on resume)
