Position Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical and control systems for manufacturing projects.
Develop and program PLC logic (Rockwell Studio5000) and HMI interfaces (FactoryTalk View) for industrial automation systems.
Perform startup, debugging, and performance validation of control systems.
Design and document electrical hardware drawings using AutoCAD.
Manage project timelines, identify risks early, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to ensure on-time delivery.
Assess project scope and requirements to support design determinations.
Monitor installation of materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
Troubleshoot issues with PLCs, network infrastructure, and industrial automation equipment.
Provide controls support services for manufacturing and production line launches.
Lead and mentor controls engineering teams on project execution and technical solutions.
Required Skills and Experience:
Strong experience in Rockwell PLC programming and FactoryTalk View HMI development.
Hands‑on experience with industrial control systems, electrical hardware design, and project startup/commissioning.
Knowledge of MES systems and manufacturing automation.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical drawings.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight timelines.
Experience in project risk management and delivering projects on schedule.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience coordinating across engineering teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers and manage controls engineering teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.
Exposure to Electric Vehicle programs or advanced manufacturing projects.
Familiarity with network infrastructure troubleshooting in industrial environment
