KPMG is seeking a Manager IC, Tech Engineer to join our Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a remote work opportunity.

Responsibilities

Drive efficiencies and automation to support the resilience of the Firm’s most critical applications

Set team goals and SLAs; collaborate with near‑shore and offshore IT‑DR teams; help set the IT‑DR lifecycle roadmap and identify areas for solutioning

Assign team members to the right projects within budget and timelines; ensure the team has the skills and tools needed; act as point of escalation to leadership

Balance execution and tactical planning with participation in strategic planning; monitor monthly, quarterly, and yearly IT‑DR performance

Ensure alignment with relevant strategies and commitments; partner with the Enterprise Resilience Organization (ERO) and Risk management; guide IT disaster recovery and business‑critical applications teams toward optimal solutions

Engage with department management and staff across Digital Nexus to influence client expectations and propose improvements; provide well‑considered alternatives and recommendations

Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience in IT‑Disaster Recovery and/or leading IT infrastructure or application teams

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; IT‑DR related certifications are a plus

Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, DNS, load balancing, servers, and high availability

Proven enterprise experience as part of IT‑DR or application teams performing IT‑DR planning and testing (e.g., application fail‑over and DR site operations)

Strong leadership and communication skills with collaboration across application teams and nearshore/offshore teams

Knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint, Office Suite and Agile methodologies
