You will be the Procurement Engineer Senior for the Upper Tier Integrated Air Missile Defense (UTIAMD) Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. Our team is responsible for reducing risk within the supply base and supporting the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) program. What You Will Be Doing
Supporting requirements management efforts and risk/opportunity management Providing strategic sourcing support and identifying affordability opportunities Creating and validating supplier capacity models Participating in process improvement and corrective action activities, such as PFMEA and RCCA analyses Supporting GSC operations team and various initiatives Basic Qualifications
Background/Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar field Ability to obtain a secret clearance Ability to interact with both internal and external customers Experience working in a collaborative/team environment Ability to analyze and organize supplier data for analysis purposes Prior experience with procurement, supply chain and/or subcontracts Desired skills
LSS Green Belt or Black Belt certified Experience with Process Simulator or other capacity analysis tools Risk Management Experience Experience in selecting and advancing suppliers Ability to drive process improvements and/or root cause/corrective actions utilizing quantitative analytical methods Statement of Work or Requirements writing experience Why Join Us
