Who We Are Looking For:
Crisis24 seeks a seasoned Security Operations Center Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our global security operations. This role involves designing, optimizing, and supporting 24/7 security operations for corporate clients, ensuring the safety of people, assets, and infrastructure globally. The ideal candidate has a strong background in physical security, GSOC operations, incident management, project delivery, and some knowledge of IT/cybersecurity. The role may require travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a SME for GSOC operations, advising on best practices, KPIs, SOP development, and scalability.
Develop and refine operational procedures, escalation protocols, and intelligence processes.
Lead projects related to GSOC setup, upgrades, and vendor transitions, including needs assessments and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Physical Security, Executive Protection, Facilities, HR, IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Continuity teams.
Ensure coordinated response to incidents and emergencies, maintaining situational awareness globally.
Evaluate and advise on security technologies such as video management, access control, alarms, and communication tools.
Support security intelligence, travel risk assessments, and threat monitoring.
Manage relationships with third-party GSOC vendors and perform quality assurance.
Mentor and train GSOC personnel, including designing training content and certification paths.
Integrate physical and cyber security risk management strategies.
Support key business initiatives, product launches, and high-risk travel with GSOC support.
Maintain client relationships, anticipate needs, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Develop knowledge of Crisis24 services and products, and forecast business opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Cyber Security, Security Management, Homeland Security, International Affairs, Political Science, Emergency Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in GSOC operations, with at least 3 years in leadership or SME roles.
Experience managing physical security programs, crisis response, and executive protection.
Knowledge of security technologies (CCTV, VMS, access control, incident management).
Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, data protection, and SOC coordination.
Proven project management experience.
Strong incident response, risk analysis, and continuity planning skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
Ability to sign an NDA and maintain confidentiality.
Effective communication skills, professional demeanor, and adaptability.
Organizational and time management skills, client management experience, conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Security Studies, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or related fields.
Industry certifications such as ASIS CPP, PSP, PCI, CSPM, PMP, or CAPM.
Experience in high-risk industries like tech, finance, energy, logistics, or NGOs.
Familiarity with international risk environments and multi-region GSOC support.
Work Environment:
The role requires physical and mental capacity to perform essential functions, including background checks, handling sensitive information, and working irregular hours. Occasional travel, physical activity, and flexible hours are expected.
