Overview
Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager role at GardaWorld. You will lead shift-based teams, oversee strategic programs, and communicate effectively. Your responsibilities include monitoring security alarms, coordinating resources, engaging with stakeholders, reporting insights, assessing performance, ensuring travel safety, and managing incident responses. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the GSOC, ensuring efficient monitoring and response to security incidents. Lead a team of security analysts in gathering, analyzing, and disseminating intelligence to support proactive decision-making. Develop and implement emergency management protocols and procedures to enhance crisis response capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligence into business operations and strategic planning. Maintain cutting-edge technology and systems to support security operations and intelligence analysis. Conduct regular training and exercises to prepare staff for emergency situations. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the GSOC team. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a GSOC environment with multiple years serving in a GSOC Lead/Manager capacity. Extensive experience with access control platforms, video management systems and incident management applications/software. Demonstrated effectiveness in managing complex people, process and technical projects. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to drive process improvement. Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and presenting. Experience developing, implementing and managing control center programs. Experience gathering and analyzing data to create metrics that support positive change. Ability to manage change and conflict effectively. Adept at managing crises with front-line leadership in coordinating responses to diverse crisis situations. Ability to lead cross-functional teams. Dependable team player with strong business acumen, enthusiasm and integrity. Understanding of state and federal employment laws. Extensive experience using the latest tools and technology in the GSOC environment. Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws. Competencies
