Job Description and Duties

The Staff Services Analyst (SSA) and Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) will provide technical expertise, training, guidance and assistance to Department staff. They will perform analytical work, learn applicable personnel management laws and rules, and apply the information to assignments, with a focus on classification, selection, and recruitment tasks.

The Department of Cannabis Control is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. The department’s mission is to develop and implement progressive cannabis policies and regulate commercial cannabis activity in the State of California. Headquarters are in Rancho Cordova, CA.
