Job description and duties

The Associate Personnel Analyst (APA) works under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Payroll and Benefits Unit. The APA provides guidance and support to the Payroll and Benefits Section, assists with complex assignments, and offers technical information regarding process improvements through technological platforms and applications. The APA responds to departmental employees and managers on payroll issues and provides liaison and technical support relating to electronic timesheets, requests for personnel actions (RPAs), on/offboarding, and other automated processes. This position requires autonomy, initiative, and independence. Special requirements
