US HWY 301, Riverview, FL 33578 The community you'll be caring for: AdventHealth Riverview AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024. The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future. This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care. AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women's care. The Role You'll Contribute

Under general supervision, primary duties include leading and assisting MRI technologists in imaging both neuro and body scans within the guidelines of Florida Hospitals parameters, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation and keeping the hospitals computer system up to date with the progress of these exams. Follows age specific guidelines while implementing the principles of Florida Hospital. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Provides daily critique/review of MRI exams. Performs and assists with MRI exams, on all types of patients: Inpatient (IP), Outpatient (OP) and Emergency Department (ED); using FH MRI protocols. Uses FH policy for proper identification of patient prior to performing exam. Educates patient concerning exam. Completes MRI exams in a timely manner, assists technologists to ensure proper workflow and minimizes empty table time. Follows through after completing exam with communication, transportation and discharge of OPs. Performs all types of MRI procedures and operates all equipment safely and properly including scanners, injectors and monitors. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to perform MRI scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary. Reviews all images of all MRI exams, repeating sequences as necessary for best possible result; assists others in these decisions. Provides supervisor/manager feedback for employees evaluations. Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School diploma or equivalent upon hire Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Ultrasonography upon hire ARRT MR or CT or R Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
