Hourly Pay Range:
$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Patient Care Tech - Neuro/Uro/Overflow-Day/PM
Position Highlights:
Position: Patient Care Tech Location: Evanston Hospital Part-time: 16 hours per week Hours: Day/PM rotating shift (7am-3:30pm/3pm-11:30pm) w/ rotating weekends What you will do:
Perform duties requiring mental, visual, auditory attention, and manual dexterity for sustained periods. Assess patients visually and read/record patient charts. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare team, and coworkers, including those wearing masks. Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, and hazardous conditions. Work under pressure to meet patient care needs. Utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for non-emergency transfers. Assist with lifting up to 50 pounds in urgent situations. Wear PPE such as N95 masks or PAPR when applicable. Move, sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, and pull throughout the shift. What you will need:
Eligibility to work in the US Completion of an accredited CNA training course preferred Experience in nursing clinical rotations preferred Current BLS certification from American Heart Association; must obtain within 90 days if not current. Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions. Basic computer skills Benefits (for full-time or part-time positions):
