Hourly Pay Range:
$18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Patient Care Tech - Neuro/Uro/Overflow - Days Position Highlights:

Patient Care Tech
Location:
Evanston Hospital
Part-time:
16 hours per week
Hours:
Day shift (7am-3:30pm) with rotating weekends
What you will do:
Perform duties involving normal mental, visual, auditory attention, and manual dexterity for sustained periods.
Assess patients and read/record patient charts requiring visual acuity.
Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members, including those wearing masks.
Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, and hazardous conditions.
Work under pressure to meet patient care needs.
Utilize appropriate patient movement equipment for non-emergency patient transfers.
Assist with lifting up to 50 pounds in urgent situations.
Wear PPE such as N95 masks or PAPR when applicable.
Engage in sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the shift.
What you will need:
Eligible to work in the US
Completion of an accredited CNA training course (preferred)
Completion of at least one nursing clinical rotation in medical or surgical nursing (preferred)
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (required or must be obtained within 90 days of hire)
Excellent interpersonal skills, teamwork, ability to prioritize, and follow directions.
