Medical Assistant Certified role at Virginia Mason Medical Center - Seattle Cardiology Clinic. You will assist providers and other members of the health care team in the clinic by performing a variety of back-office and patient-related tasks and ensuring smooth patient flow within the department. You will also perform a variety of patient care procedures within the Medical Assistant scope of practice, including but not limited to injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, measuring vital signs, rooming, pre-visit preparation, patient visit support, and post-visit duties. Responsibilities
Assist with front office activities and scheduling tasks; inform providers of schedule changes that impact patient flow; assist with patient visits and post-visit duties. Perform back-office and patient care procedures within MA scope of practice (e.g., injections, EKGs, ear lavage, blood draws, vital signs). Support team-based care within Virginia Mason Production System and Team Medicine approach. Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program. Washington State Department of Health Medical Assistant - Certified (CM). Knowledge of third party payer requirements. Strong detail orientation; ability to work independently; strong organizational, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills; PC skills. One year Medical Assistant – Certified experience preferred. Pay Range
$27.25 - $38.49 per hour Additional information
