APP - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner | Infectious Disease – Bemidji, MN Sanford Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Infectious Disease services and expand access to specialized care in Bemidji, MN. 40.00 Responsibilities

Provide expert clinical guidance in infectious disease care Assess patients, perform examinations, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team Prescribe medications as legally authorized; maintain complete patient records Coordinate care, refer to specialists as needed, and counsel patients and families on prevention and self-management Cover hospital consultations, rounding, and assist with patient procedures as needed Incorporate evidence-based practice guidelines and maintain knowledge of state regulations for advanced practice Engage in quality improvement, research, and ongoing professional development Qualifications

Master’s, post-master’s, or doctorate from a nurse practitioner program accredited by CCON or NLNAC/NLN Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse; current DEA permit Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or equivalent; ability to obtain scope of practice approval from state nursing boards Recent experience with patient care in relevant settings and privileges About Sanford Health Bemidji
