APP - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner | Pulmonology – Bemidji, MN Sanford Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Pulmonology services in Bemidji, Minnesota. This is a full-time, day-shift position with 40 hours per week. Position Highlights

The NP/PA delivers advanced clinical expertise in Pulmonology and coordinates patient care and quality improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing patients, obtaining medical histories, performing examinations, developing diagnoses, coordinating care, prescribing medications as legally authorized, maintaining detailed health records, referring to specialists when needed, counseling patients and families, and participating in rounds, hospital consultations, and procedures as needed. The role may involve coverage of hospital consultations and participation in clinical research to improve patient care and outcomes. Maintain knowledge of state regulations for advanced practice and reimbursement processes. Qualifications
Completion of a master’s, postmaster’s, or doctorate from a nurse practitioner program accredited by the CCNE or NLNAC Current licensure by the applicable state board of nursing for advanced practice and current DEA license to prescribe controlled substances Current certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center or equivalent Ability to provide care for an adequate patient volume as evidenced in the past 12 months or recent relevant training Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing; prior NP/PA practice in related settings Compensation & Benefits
Compensation range and benefits are based on eligibility and experience.
