Fundraising Manager, Walk to End Alzheimer's – Northern CA and Northern Nevada Chapter. As Manager of Walk to End Alzheimer’s, you join an exclusive team of leaders responsible for the implementation of Walk to End Alzheimer’s, the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Walk to End Alzheimer’s ranks as the second-largest peer-to-peer fundraising event in the United States and continues to grow rapidly. In 2024, Walk to End Alzheimer’s was recognized as the #2 peer-to-peer fundraising event in the country, with the largest dollar growth among the top 30 programs. Utilizing your networking and relationship-building skills, you will cultivate key community connections to drive revenue goals by engaging community and corporate leaders and building sustainable volunteer committees in Coachella Valley (and surrounding area as appropriate). Responsibilities

Drive success and achieve revenue goals by strategically identifying and engaging community and corporate leaders. Build and empower sustainable volunteer committees to support Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Manage multiple peer-to-peer fundraising events annually, generating excitement in the community and growing event participation and revenue year over year. Coach, inspire, and lead volunteers to implement proven strategies and best practices for event growth. Foster a positive, healthy, and inclusive team environment to build long-term community relationships. Prospect, cultivate and steward event teams, sponsors and participants; manage event budgets and timelines; use data to drive positive outcomes. What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of proven experience in recruiting and mobilizing volunteers to achieve goals OR 3-5 years’ experience meeting sales targets. Confident, goal-oriented self-starter, able to work independently and with partners. Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture corporate relationships and partnerships. Ability to manage large numbers of volunteers at different levels with diplomacy. Ability to work with diverse communities and in a highly matrixed organization. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and follow-through. Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory by car; occasional overnight or air travel may be required. Must have valid driver’s license, access to reliable vehicle, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance. Ability to work some evenings and weekends for committee meetings, Walk events and related activities. Ability to bend, stoop, lift and transport up to 25 lbs of materials. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office and social media; experience with, or ability to learn Luminate/Convio software. Job Details

Grade 205. Salary range: $25.00 per hour. Performance-based incentive opportunity up to $13,000 based on portfolio size and quarterly goals. Reports To:
