Speech Language Pathologist – OH
Oregon Connections Academy is hiring a full‑time Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide virtual speech therapy to K‑12 students for the 2025‑2026 school year.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality speech‑language services to assigned students and support program implementation.
Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment.
Be an expert on assigned school and state policies and procedures for implementing LiveSpeech services.
Maintain positive relationships with the LiveSpeech team, schools, and programs.
Review and analyze reports to maintain compliance.
Maintain a high level of communication with the leadership team and school staff.
Document therapeutic interventions and progress reports timely and thoroughly.
Meet bi‑weekly with your supervisor.
Conduct screenings and formal and informal evaluations of all students’ communication needs.
Communicate regularly with parents/learning coaches and special‑education staff to ensure IEP goals are met.
Consult with teachers and coordinate specialized instruction as defined in IEPs.
Special‑education case‑management for select students whose only need is speech therapy.
Assist with documentation and procedures for the IEP process.
Maintain accurate data in the company’s Education Management System and special‑education software.
Adhere to laws and company policies regarding data protection and security.
Obtain and maintain required licenses and clearances.
Complete required professional development, training, and CEUs.

Complete additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
MA or MS in Speech‑Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
Valid Ohio Licensure in Speech Pathology.
Ability to obtain and maintain multiple state certifications and clearances.
2+ years experience in a K‑12 school setting.
Strong technology skills.
High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for two‑step authentication.
