Overview
Part-Time Speech-Language Pathologist role at Oregon Connections Academy. This is a remote/virtual position providing speech therapy services to K-12 students enrolled in Connections Academy virtual public schools. Accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Primary Responsibilities
Provide high quality speech-language services to assigned students while supporting program implementation. Plan and implement individual and group therapy in a virtual environment. Be an expert on assigned school and state-specific policies and procedures for implementing LiveSpeech services. Maintain a positive working relationship between the LiveSpeech team and the schools/programs served. Review and analyze reports to maintain compliance. Maintain a high level of communication with the leadership team and school staff. Ensure timely and complete documentation of therapeutic interventions. Conduct screenings and formal and informal evaluations of students’ communication needs. Regularly communicate with parents/learning coaches and school special education staff to ensure IEP goals are met and needs are addressed promptly. Consult with teachers and coordinate the implementation of specially designed instruction as defined in the IEP for students with speech/language needs and potential learning issues. Assist with organization and proper implementation of paperwork, documentation and procedures for the IEP process for select students. Maintain accurate data in the Education Management System and relevant special education software; update secondary IEP systems as directed. Adhere to all laws and company policies regarding data protection and security. Obtain and maintain all required licenses and clearances as assigned. Complete required professional development and CEUs to maintain credentials and meet company compliance standards. The following equipment will be provided by the company for part-time SLPs: Webcam, Headset. The following equipment must be provided by you, the employee, when working from home: Computer, 2nd monitor, Mouse, Keyboard. Requirements
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence. Valid state licensure in Speech Pathology (prioritized states include MN, MA, AR, OR, TN, MI, PA, AL, GA, SC). Must be available to work at least 20 hours per week. 2+ years of experience in a K-12 school setting. Strong technology skills. High degree of flexibility and ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Must be able to use a personal electronic device and an email address for two-step authentication. Capabilities
