We are seeking an experienced
Production Manager
to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations in Ayer, MA. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in food, beverage, biotech, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will drive safety, quality, and productivity goals while fostering team development and continuous improvement across all production processes. Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve
safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets . Monitor and analyze
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
to identify opportunities for improvement. Apply
Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA)
methodology to solve operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions. Lead
continuous improvement initiatives
to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and optimize scheduling. Supervise, coach, and develop a high‑performing manufacturing team. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, including
GMP, SOPs, OSHA, and FDA . Promote a culture of
safety, accountability, and employee engagement . Manage material availability, product quality, and on‑time delivery through efficient resource planning. Facilitate operational reviews to ensure alignment with short‑ and long‑term goals. Support
new product launches
in coordination with cross‑functional teams. Lead workforce planning and training programs to ensure flexibility and succession readiness. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications
Minimum
5 years of supervisory or management experience
in manufacturing (food, beverage, biotech, or pharmaceutical). Proven experience implementing
Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives . Familiarity with
Daily Management Systems, Lean principles, GMPs, SOPs, OSHA, and FDA regulations
preferred. Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and fostering a high‑performance culture. What We Offer
