The Field Service Electrical Supervisor manages a team of electricians, plans and oversees electrical projects and ensures proper installation of electrical wiring and components. This role maintains compliance with safety standards and coordinates all aspects of an electrical project from start to finish, including estimating materials, assigning tasks, and quality control checks. This position reports to the General Manager and typically has 2 or more direct reports.

Key Responsibilities

Reliable attendance and punctuality. Review electrical blueprints and project specifications to understand project requirements. Develop detailed work plans, timelines, and project budgets. Estimate material needs and procure necessary equipment. Coordinate with other trades and project stakeholders. Ensure all electrical work is performed according to safety regulations and building codes. Inspect electrical installations to verify quality and compliance. Troubleshoot electrical problems and identify solutions. Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections. Implement quality control measures to ensure project standards are met. Identify and address potential quality issues before they become problems. Conduct regular quality checks throughout the project. Enforce all safety protocols and procedures on the job site. Conduct safety meetings and toolbox talks with the team. Investigate and report any safety incidents. Maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports, work orders, and inspection reports. Track project costs and expenditures. Prepare necessary reports for project management and clients. Assign tasks to electricians based on their skills and experience. Train and mentor new electricians. Monitor team performance and address any issues or concerns. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Key Performance Measures

Achieve 100% safety compliance. (No violations or near-misses) each quarter. Complete 100% of scheduled preventive maintenance for critical systems each month. Budget adherence. Stay within +/- 5% of annual maintenance and repair budget. Other key performance indicators as assigned. Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalency required. Supervising Electrician license or equivalent certification based on industry requirements. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance. 2+ years in a critical power environment (e.g. data centers, hospitals, manufacturing). Licensed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) and able to file permits with AHJ. Committed to maintaining a safe work environment. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and standards. Background in industrial and commercial electrical systems. Capability to troubleshoot electrical issues and find solutions. Fundamental understanding of AC/DC theory. Proficiency with electrical test equipment (e.g., DVM, Oscilloscopes, Load Banks). Knowledge of machines and tools, their design, use, repair, and maintenance. Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, time management and customer service skills. Clear written and verbal communication; ability to listen to customer needs. Reliable, organized, and professional. Ability to develop and maintain strong workplace relationships with emphasis on customer satisfaction. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and across remote offices. Ability to collaborate with other departments toward organizational goals. Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams. Valid Driver’s License, ability to pass background check and drug screenings required by customer sites and the Company.
