A full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in New Britain, CT. This contract role begins ASAP and continues through June 9, 2026, with a work schedule of 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week onsite. The position serves approximately 50 students within inclusion settings, covering a range of disability categories rather than specialized classrooms. Caseload numbers may fluctuate depending on student enrollment changes. Compensation : The compensation ranges from $40.92 to $60.92 per hour. Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary-aged students within inclusive classrooms. Implement individualized treatment plans and conduct ongoing assessments. Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student communication needs. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district guidelines and licensing requirements. Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates completing their Clinical Fellowship (CF) considered. Experience in school-based speech-language pathology required. Active Connecticut state license to practice as an SLP. District background check and fingerprints clearance mandatory. School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates are not eligible.
