Overview
The Personal Injury Case Manager (Pre-Litigation) manages personal injury cases from post-signup through settlement, prior to litigation. This role is the main contact for clients, attorneys, providers, and insurers—ensuring smooth case progression, strong communication, and favorable outcomes. Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of pre-litigation cases from intake to settlement. Maintain regular client communication and support throughout treatment and claims. Draft legal documents: demand letters, summaries, settlement paperwork, and correspondence. Collect and organize evidence: police reports, medical records, bills, and wage loss documentation. Coordinate medical treatment and track progress to avoid care gaps. Open/manage insurance claims, communicate with adjusters, and assist with negotiations. Prepare detailed demand packages outlining liability and damages. Review and negotiate medical bills and liens to maximize client recovery. Track deadlines, maintain organized case files, and ensure compliance. Support attorneys with case research, strategy, and preparation. Qualifications
1+ years of personal injury pre-litigation experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Legal drafting/research experience a plus Proficient in case management software Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate or related education a plus Attributes
