Responsibilities

Provide Primary and Family evidenced-based care including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for patients. Provide administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, inventory management, patient follow up, verifying insurance and collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment. Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive health outcomes. Discuss healthy lifestyle choices with patients, perform diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat injuries or illnesses, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care. Encourage patients to become active participants in their health and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.

Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; experience in Family medicine or primary care preferred. Active Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in good standing. Provide holistic, evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning; includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention and STI prevention and safer sex practices. Order and administer immunizations and injections (e.g., COVID-19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent. Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment. Proficiency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) depending on the market. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation. Pass a FIT test and wear a respirator when required.

Education

Master's Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with current National Board Certification and State license to practice in the Advanced Practice role.

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $46.03 - $99.14 per hour. This range represents base pay for positions in the job grade. Actual offer depends on experience, education, geography and other factors. Position is eligible for CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive in addition to base pay.
