The Department of Physiatry & Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, in partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine, is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible physiatrist with training in sports/spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain to join a well-established department in Queens. Both experienced physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply. NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is the largest hospital in Queens and serves a culturally and ethnically diverse population. This 535-bed busy tertiary facility is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and offers multiple graduate medical education programs. The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. The role encompasses several outpatient sites in Queens with a C-arm available in the hospital (for sedation) and in Long Island City, with support from experienced Physician Assistants. Queens is home to notable venues such as Flushing Meadows Park, the New York Mets, and the US Open Tennis Tournament., and offers diverse cultural and culinary opportunities. The salary range for this position is
$260k to $350k , exclusive of benefits and potential incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity. Responsibilities
Provide outpatient physiatrics/rehabilitation care with a focus on sports and spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain as aligned with the department’s needs. Work across multiple outpatient sites in Queens with access to C-arm capabilities for procedures and sedation in the hospital setting, with support from Physician Assistants. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in academic activities as an affiliated Weill Cornell Medical College appointment. Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Training in sports/spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain preferred. Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-care skills; all experience levels welcome. Employment details
