Overview
The Department of Physiatry & Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, in partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine, is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible physiatrist with training in sports/spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain to join a well-established department in Queens. Both experienced physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient physiatry care across several sites in Queens.
Work with a C-arm in the hospital for sedation and with support from experienced Physician Assistants at Long Island City site.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Training in sports/spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain.
All experience levels considered; the department invites both experienced physicians and new graduates to apply.
Selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College; academic rank commensurate with experience and credentials.

This 535-bed busy tertiary facility is an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College and serves over two million residents in Queens, NY. The department participates in three graduate medical education residency programs and six fellowship programs, including an ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowship and orthopedic residency rotations, in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell.
Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $260k to $350k. This range does not include our comprehensive benefits or any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may apply.
