Overview
The Department of Physiatry & Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, in partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine, seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible physiatrist with training in sports/spine, interventional spine, or interventional pain to join the department in Queens. Both experienced physicians and new grads are encouraged to apply.
Facility and Academic Affiliation NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is a 535-bed tertiary facility, the largest hospital in Queens, and an academic affiliate of Weill Cornell Medical College. The hospital serves a diverse population and offers multiple GME residency and fellowship programs, including an ACGME-accredited sports medicine fellowship and orthopedic residency rotations in partnership with Weill Cornell Medicine.
Role and Responsibilities
The selected physician will work across several outpatient sites in Queens.
Utilizes a C-arm in the hospital (for sedation) and in Long Island City, with support from experienced Physician Assistants.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $260,000 to $350,000. This does not include benefits or incentive payments based on quality measures and productivity, if applicable.
Academic Appointment The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College. Academic rank will be commensurate with experience and credentials.
