Nurse Educator , you will play a pivotal role in individuals\' lives, making a significant impact through:
The coordination and implementation of the AMAP Medication Certification class and AMAP refresher to be held monthly. This includes observing the staff complete their medication pours observations for medication administration certification
For the planning and implementation of other educational programs and trainings for clinical and non-clinical staff
Maintaining a small residential caseload
Adhering to all guidelines and regulations set forth by the agency’s business plan(s) and/or other oversight entities such as, but not limited to; OPWDD, CDC, DOH.
Salary and Schedule Nurse Educator
Minimum Salary: $77,976
Nurse Educator
Maximum Salary: $80,028
Nurse Educator
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am - 5:00pm
*may include being subject to call *
Qualifications
Valid NYS Driver’s License
Associate Degree in Nursing
A current New York State Registered Professional Nurse License
3-5 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
