Overview
Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is looking for Epic Clinical Analysts I and II to join the Epic Team. Applicants hired into the Epic Clinical Analyst I position are considered Trainees and will acquire the necessary skills to qualify for promotion to Epic Clinical Analyst II. Applicants hired into the Epic Clinical Analyst II position are considered journey-level Analysts who will perform moderately complex systems analysis and applications programming, support major development projects, and create functional specifications with other internal analysts and technical staff.
Responsibilities Epic Clinical Analyst I and II responsibilities include, but are not limited to, clinical informatics tasks related to Epic systems, collaboration with clinical and technical staff, and contribution to the implementation and support of Epic modules.
Qualifications Epic Clinical Analyst I
– Candidates must meet both Education and Experience requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Social Work, Health Science, Clinical Nutrition, Speech Pathology, or a closely related field. OR Associate’s degree as a Pharmacy Technician, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Occupational Therapist Assistant, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Two (2) years of professional clinical experience in an acute care hospital in a related role (e.g., Clinical Lab Scientist, Cytotechnologist, Dietitian, Genetic Counselor, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Social Services Practitioner, Speech Therapist, or closely related).
Epic Clinical Analyst II
– Candidates must meet all Certification, Education, and Experience requirements:
Certification:
Epic Certification in one or more modules obtained through Epic Systems Corporation.
Education:
Option 1: Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology, Social Work, Health Science, Clinical Nutrition, Speech Pathology, or a closely related field. OR Option 2: Associate’s degree as a Pharmacy Technician, Radiologic Technologist, Respiratory Care Practitioner, Occupational Therapist Assistant, or a closely related field.
Experience:
Option 1: One (1) year of experience as an ARMC Epic Clinical Analyst I with relevant clinical expertise; Option 2: One (1) year as an analyst on an Epic implementation team; Option 3: One (1) year of experience providing user support for Epic Systems.
The ideal candidate will have professional level experience in a related clinical field in an acute care hospital and a willingness to learn clinical informatics and serve as a subject matter expert for Epic implementation.
Salary Epic Clinical Analyst I: Annual salary $84,760.00 – $108,451.20.
Epic Clinical Analyst II: Annual salary $99,944.00 – $137,592.00.

Conditions of Employment
Pre-Employment Process: Applicants must pass a physical, background investigation, and verification of employment history, certifications, and education.
Epic Certification: Incumbents must obtain Epic certification within three attempts or 90 days from the date of hire; extensions may be granted under certain conditions. Employment may be terminated if certification is not obtained within the allotted time.
Training & Travel: Ability to sit in training for up to 8 hours/day. Travel to Verona, Wisconsin may be required. Travel expenses are paid by the County.
License: Valid California Class C Real ID/Driver License, Passport, or Military ID with proof of automobile liability insurance required at hire.
On-Call: On-Call duties for nights, weekends, and holidays may be required depending on module certification.
Visa Sponsorship: The County cannot consider candidates who require visa sponsorship at the time of application or in the future.
