Ellsworth Adhesives, a global distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer, has a Senior Chemical Process Engineer opportunity in the KitPackers (KPRL) Division located in Germantown, WI. Leads root cause investigations and implements corrective/preventive actions to resolve internal or external customer complaints related to material or processing issues for a Business Unit(s). Directs the commercialization process for new products by implementing the manufacturing process and testing protocols to ensure finished products meet safety, performance and cost expectations. Assigns in-process batch adjustments and scales production batches to meet product performance specifications. Analyzes production, test data and internal specifications to optimize process capability, efficiency and cost. Dispositions non-conforming material, including assigning internal deviations, and assesses costs and responsibility. Qualifications
5 years of engineering or quality experience in a related field. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. Strong track record of effectively managing difficult or emotional customer situations. Excellent customer service skills demonstrated by responding promptly to customers and soliciting feedback. Demonstrated ability to use analytical skills to synthesize complex information to maximize efficiencies while mitigating risk. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Occasional domestic travel is expected (Less than 5%). Perks & Benefits
