Ellsworth Corporation, a global industry leader in the distribution of specialty chemicals, equipment, and adhesives manufacturer, currently has a Compensation Manager opportunity available. This role reports to our Corporate Headquarters located in Germantown, WI. This role can be either Remote or Hybrid.

You will manage the strategic and tactical elements of compensation programs across the global organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives, organizational compensation philosophy, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Designs, implements, maintains, and administers global compensation structures, policies, incentive plans, sales commission plans, vendors and programs that support organizational goals
Oversee the job evaluation process to ensure accurate classification and alignment of roles within the organization
Provide expert consultation to HR Business Partners, leaders, and managers on compensation-related matters; uses analytics to identify compensation trends, pay equity gaps and workforce risks and develops recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative insights
Lead compensation-related processes and projects including annual merit cycles, incentive plan reviews, sales commission plans, and compliance audits
Ensure adherence to federal, state, international labor laws, local compensation regulations, organizational compensation philosophy and internal governance standards and monitors emerging legislation to ensure organizational readiness
Collaborate with HRIS and Finance teams to maintain data integrity, optimizing systems, tools and reporting capabilities

Qualifications
5+ years of progressive experience in global compensation, with demonstrated expertise in program design, analysis, and administration. Sales compensation experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline. Master’s degree or Certified Compensation Professional, preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and compensation/HRIS systems. Workday Advanced Compensation experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data insights to stakeholders.
Proven ability to work independently on complex compensation projects or tasks with minimal supervision.
Effectively manage multiple competing priorities, meet deadlines and demonstrate the ability to pivot and adapt to evolving business needs.
