What to Expect This role is primarily responsible for overseeing all activities for the Bankruptcy floor within its areas of responsibility. The position directly creates strategies and structure to support the achievement of bankruptcy goals following Hyundai Capital America business practices and all company policies and procedures. This Manager role also supports a coaching culture focused on incremental improvement in behaviors and performance, collaborates cross‑divisionally with other departments, and aligns with business needs.

What You Will Do

Performance Coaching: Actively lead individual and team coaching sessions with a focus on developing relationships that encourage reflection and help team members improve performance, personal effectiveness, and impact. Participate in departmental performance coaching initiatives and lead individual coaching sessions with leadership.

Performance Management: Directly manage assigned bankruptcy teams to drive optimum performance by holding team members accountable for performance and behaviors as outlined in company and department policies and procedures, including attendance, compliance, and quality.

Monitor daily performance and productivity reports for the team and collaborate with the department manager to address performance opportunities.

Adhere to Corrective Action Program guidelines and activities.

Effectively analyze data and develop actionable plans to address areas of opportunity.

Identify, communicate, and implement process improvement initiatives and encourage ideas from all employees within the department.

Collaborate with other internal teams to effectively manage initiatives and support projects and department strategies.

Maintain adequate staffing levels by assisting with interview and hiring activities.

Maintain and monitor schedules to meet daily production expectations.

Ensure the department is compliant with weekly and monthly compliance audits and drive strategies and training initiatives focused on meeting monthly QM goals to minimize compliance violations.

Identify trends and implement strategies to address behaviors observed by direct reports that do not support effective leadership and support team success.

Collaborate with Compliance for any related matters when applicable.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

5 years auto finance experience preferred.

Experience leading high‑performing teams preferred.

B.A. or B.S. degree in Business or Finance preferred.

Strong written and oral communication skills – Must communicate verbally to groups of all sizes and produce documents free of grammatical and spelling errors that are persuasive and logical.

Strong listening and interpretation skills. Ability to work with, lead and consult with all levels in the organization.

Must be highly organized and have a strong attention to detail.

Understanding of team dynamics and techniques to build strong teams.

Forecasting and data mining skills preferred.

Working knowledge of call center technology. Must be able to extract call data from the automatic call distributor (ACD) to ensure customers receive appropriate service and have working knowledge of automatic dialers.

Intermediate MS Excel skills required; MS Access knowledge is a plus.

Compensation Minimum Salary: $77,600.00 Maximum Salary: $120,300.00
