What you Will do:
Chula Vista Global Trade Site Lead. Work with business partners to ensure implementation of all required Collins Global Trade policy and legal requirements for the site.
Manage Aerostructures export compliance risk assessment process, including conducting periodic reviews of procedures, reports and systems to identify hidden risks or potential deficiencies, and ensure effectiveness of the compliance program.
Manage the Advanced Structures China Sourcing and 3201 approvals and ensure sites properly implement the requirements. Analyze ECCNs at the part number level against the final assembly to determine if Dual Use items are involved. Responsible for following through individual requests coming from the Supply Chain organization on a timely manner.
Responsible for meeting deliverables associated with the current consent agreement and on-going support of Collins Global Trade policy and legal requirements.
Develop relationships with various internal functional groups to understand and execute in support of the business.
Responsible for meeting for all aspects of the site(s) global trade program and working with the business to understand applicable requirements.
Monitor and perform and document daily due diligence investigations for import or export transactions subject to GTS (ERP) holds due to licensing or Sanctioned Party Screening reasons.
Analyze business needs with respect to Global Trade requirements and develop compliant solutions across all phases of the business lifecycle.
Support process for Jurisdiction & Classification (JC/ECCN) and Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification requests.
Participate as part of a rotational AOG after-hours support team including being on call on weekends (every 4 weeks approx.).
Support the development and delivery of formal and informal Global Trade training and communications.
Provide Global Trade guidance to business partners in area such as: Anti-boycott/Restrictive Trade Practices, Export Screening protocols, Export Control Classification, Export Documentation, Tariff Classification, Sanctions and Embargoes, Customs, Visitor management, Technology marking, Technology transfer methods, international travel, Reporting and other administrative requirements for export compliance.
Establishes and maintains training and audit / assessment programs to ensure implementation and effectiveness of internal controls
Additional GT activities assigned by the GT Associate Director.
Travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances permit
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum over 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
5+ years of experience in U.S. global trade and sanctions compliance, and knowledge of U.S. and international trade laws, export regulations (EAR/ITAR), sanctions and export controls.
3+ year of program management experience in implementing policy requirements across complex and global muti-faced company utilizing your ability to effectively communicate and ensure program implementation at various levels within an organization
Working knowledge of SAP/GTS or similar ERPs and Global Trade applications.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Aerospace industry experience
Experienced in time management, prioritization, analysis, and organization; consistently meets deadlines and delivers results.

The salary range for this role is 137,000 USD - 275,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
