Overview
Sr. Cyber Product Owner at ECS – Fairfax, VA (remote options may be considered per project needs). ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). The JCDC is CISA’s flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats. Our ECS team supports JCDC as they plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community.
As a key member of our team, you will help deploy strategic products across diverse stakeholder groups in the public and private sectors. You will collaborate with our team to develop and implement strategies, engage with stakeholders, and monitor performance.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary interface with CISA partners across federal government, public, and private sectors to share cyber-related information and capabilities to protect networks and infrastructure.
Engage with leaders across CISA’s partners to share and collaborate on cyber capabilities, solutions, and findings.
Work with CISA partners to gather feedback to guide JCDC capabilities and monitor product adoption and usage, identifying early indicators of success and potential barriers.
Serve as the forward-facing JCDC solutionist to foster collaboration and communication with external partners.
Collaborate with a team of specialists, including a Cyber Product Owner, Cyber Engagement Coordinator, and a Performance Monitoring team.
Translate strategic products into clear, practical formats tailored to different stakeholder groups, including large and small jurisdictions and critical infrastructure partners.
Perform targeted outreach to deliver cyber products to priority communities via industry channels, ISAC portals, mailing lists, and webinars.
Facilitate collaborative working sessions with external stakeholders to ensure product recommendations align with operational processes and compliance requirements.
Manage stakeholders to address implementation challenges and encourage rapid adoption of cyber solutions.
Required Skills
US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain at minimum a DHS Suitability (EOD) Public Trust.
Experience reviewing and guiding technical cybersecurity solutions.
Eight years of experience in cybersecurity, translating strategy into tangible, actionable products.
Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management with a track record of collaboration across diverse groups.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience with data analysis and performance monitoring to track program effectiveness.
Desired Skills
DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance.
Familiarity with CISA, JCDC, or related federal cybersecurity organizations.
Experience in consulting or advisory roles, providing guidance to external organizations.
Knowledge of outreach channels including social media, webinars, and partner portals.
Experience with data visualization and storytelling to present performance metrics and insights.
