Base pay range: $38.00/hr - $50.00/hr Position Summary: This role supports the Vision Center, focusing on sales, customer service, inventory management, and operating standards in alignment with Company policies and local regulations. What you'll do
Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and in-stock and inventory levels; assist with budgeting, forecasting, and assessing economic trends and community needs. Model and reinforce Customer/Member service approaches to address needs, complaints, and issues within Company guidelines and standards. Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associates to engage as good members of the community. Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures, and regulations; analyze reports; implement and monitor asset protection, safety controls, and quality assurance reviews; develop action plans to improve performance. Provide direction on Company programs and strategic initiatives; supervise Vision Center Associates to ensure confidentiality of information and records. Hire, train, mentor, and develop Associates; provide recognition; foster a culture of belonging. Consult with Members/Customers to select products that meet needs; obtain measurements and verify prescriptions; maintain confidentiality and perform minor frame repairs and equipment maintenance. Maintain adherence to the Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates to address concerns and suggest resolutions. Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, communicating goals, measuring progress, and promoting continuous learning. Ensure the provision of quality eyewear and exceptional customer service through training and guidance of Associates and operational practices. Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules. Preferred qualifications
