About the Organization: We are a modern, integrated agency created and managed by Omnicom to lead all marketing and communications globally for Nissan. Nissan United is housed within TBWA and focuses on marketing transformation, data, analytics, media, customer experience and CRM. TBWA is the Disruption agency with a history of famous campaigns and a culture of innovation.

Day to Day Responsibilities

Set up, embody and grow the social media management practice of the agency.

Own the definition and implementation of processes, workflows, social media playbooks, content production timelines, social content calendars, reporting.

Manage social media managers and community managers across the agency’s clients (outside of Nissan United).

Collaborate with business, strategy, data, content creators and production teams to bring everything to life.

Increase process vision and overall creative development efficiency within the agency.

Oversee and manage TBWA's customized & proprietary "ScreenDragon" PM tool with PM team and greater business teams.

Provide leadership across the social media management practice, offering efficient project planning and staff management.

Motivate the team by displaying a high level of respect, positivity, accountability, and clear, proactive communication.

Facilitate a collaborative, steady environment to enable and encourage the best work.

Maintain relationships with key digital partners (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, Google) alongside the Digital Strategy team.

Partner closely with creative teams to ideate and implement original engagement tactics with shared responsibility in the work.

Communicate objectives and priorities clearly, ensuring projects are completed on time, on budget, and error-free.

Create and manage individual project estimates, flagging changes in direction or scope as early as possible.

Work closely with brand and agency leaders to determine resource allocation.

Understand the client’s finances to be more effective—internally and with the client team.

Contribute new ideas and identify new areas of personal career development.

Qualifications

5+ years of Social Media Management experience with proven upward management progress.

Experience managing a team; strong self-starter with confident decision-making skills.

Experience with Project Management and Social Content Workflow tools & software.

Digitally savvy with expertise in campaigns and content publishing on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, etc.

Knowledge of best-in-class social activations, campaigns and memes.

Social publishing best practices and tools (CMS, Analytics, Benchmarking, Listening, Monitoring).

Community management and engagement principles with platform-specific considerations.

Paid Social principles and opportunities (e.g., dark posts, amplification, Facebook and Google platforms).

Influencer marketing principles and opportunities.

Prepared to discuss your favorite subreddits, notable Twitter threads, and your TikTok FYP in an interview.

Location and Compensation Location: Candidates should currently live in or be willing to relocate to New York City or Nashville within the first 60 days of employment. Salary range is $80,000 - $120,000 depending on location and experience. Benefits include health/vision/dental, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days, disability, life, travel insurance plans and retirement plans where applicable.
