Responsibilities
Lead the project planning process including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout
Manage project implementation, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation with external vendors and contractors
Serve as the primary project authority for assigned personnel on major project-related issues
Direct project teams and lead the project management process
Track metrics and report to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and corporate procedures during project phases
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in engineering, engineering management, or construction management
Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the construction, electric power, or communications industry
At least five (5) years of relevant project management experience
Experience managing large-scale projects or leading engineering projects on large/complex initiatives
Proficiency with project management processes, tools, and financial analysis in a utility setting
Preferred Qualifications
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Additional five (5) years of project management experience
Experience in project management controls
