What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Lead the project planning process, including initiation, design, engineering, material procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout

Manage project implementation, including project schedule, budget, and resources involving external vendors and contractors

Serve as the primary project authority for assigned personnel on major project-related issues

Direct project team and oversee the project management process

Ensure compliance with regulatory, corporate, and departmental procedures throughout all project phases

What is Required (Qualifications)

Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering management, or construction management from an accredited university

Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in the construction, electric power, and communications industry

Five (5) years of relevant project management experience with large-scale projects

Knowledge and experience with project management processes and tools

Proficiency with financial analysis tools in a utility setting

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Experience in project management controls

Additional experience in large/complex project lead engineering roles
