Specialist Crowd Control - Gaming - On Call (Harrah's Atlantic City)
Job responsibilities and requirements for the Specialist Crowd Control role at Harrah's Atlantic City.
Responsibilities
Provide superior customer service by demonstrating outlined service behaviors, maintaining a positive attitude, and greeting guests warmly.
Anticipate guest needs, deliver fast, flawless service, monitor guest satisfaction, and resolve service breakdowns when they occur.
Promote Total Rewards programs and card membership; provide a warm farewell and thank guests for visiting.
Perform security-related duties: monitor assigned areas, survey the crowd, and prevent or resolve altercations in a professional manner.
Check guests’ identification to ensure they are of legal age; enforce capacity regulations; manage entry restrictions for VIP areas as applicable.
Maintain crowd control by moving through the venue during shifts; ensure safety of patrons, employees, and company property.
Complete incident reports and other required reporting; enforce company security and safety regulations; transfer money and chips between Booth, Main Cage, and Main Cash Bank; perform all security/safety duties; ensure casino regulations are adhered to at all times.
Qualifications
High School Diploma preferred. Previous experience in night club security, public relations, or casino security is desirable.
CPR or AED certified or ability to obtain; Controlled Force/Handcuffing certified or willing to complete certification.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; physically able to stand and walk for long periods; able to work in a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
