JOB SUMMARY
This position will be responsible for providing a smooth and efficient operation and direction for the Main Bank, Marker Bank and Chip Bank through the Casino Cage. Responsible for Satellite Banks which will include High Limit. Develops innovative and cost-effective solutions which focus on driving efficiencies, improving guest experience, increasing employee productivity and growing revenues. Must be able to obtain a NJ Casino KEY License. DIRECTLY SUPERVISES
Casino Cashier Shift Manager KEY JOB FUNCTIONS
This position functions as the Cage Manager in accordance with N.J.A.C. 13.69D-1.11(b)6. Responsible for the overall accountability of currency and cash equivalents in all Cage areas. Responsible for conducting transactions for Caesars Rewards and Sportsbook when outlets are closed Oversees Pit Clerk operations, and Mymarker. Department may perform rating adjustments for Table Games Responsible for conducting online gaming deposits and withdrawal transactions, as well as printing Caesars Rewards Visa cards. Coordinates cash needs with non-gaming outlets and facilitates the preparation and record keeping of casino credit related documents. Ensures accurate reconciliation of all banks, ticketing machines and cash comp machines. Provides assistance with variance resolution and reporting. Maintains policies for the safeguarding of funds for the property; enforces physical safeguards over all moneys, forms and records relating to Casino Cashiering; ensuring asset security. Ensures that the cashier's cage responsibilities for the approval, exchange, redemption and consolidation of patron checks, and the receipt, distribution, and redemption of gaming chips and plaques, are carried out in accordance with applicable gaming regulations and internal controls. Monitors any disciplinary action initiated by subordinates. Ensures that reports of any unusual incidents, trends or other pertinent data are submitted to the Casino Controller concerning areas of responsibility. Maintain thorough knowledge of and ensure compliance with all Gaming regulations and Title 31 regulations; ensures financial transactions are recorded within regulatory, state and federal guidelines while adhering to company policy. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures. Direct smooth, efficient, cost-effective operations; including labor management, supervision of all aspects of services; overseeing staffing levels in accordance with business demand. Controls labor costs and ensure budgeting guidelines are followed; monitors compliance of full-time equivalents (FTE's) per department policy. Develop and oversee the execution of company and property objectives and goals as they relate to the Cage operation. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching and monitoring the performance of direct reports. Lead the delivery and measurement of guest services consistent with the company's core service standards and brand attributes. Provide input into the research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to ensure the company's competitive position. Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction. Oversee guest service standards that are consistent with the property's standards and brand attributes; respond to and resolve guest and/or employee complaints in a timely manner and creatively solve problems with the ability to anticipate, recognize, evaluate, and resolve potential difficulties. Develops employee-training procedures for each operational area ensuring internal controls are updated and maintained. Enforce company policies, establish performance standards and evaluate employee status. Responsible for ensuring all departmental staff are trained and/or re-trained on policies, procedures and methods. Supports special events with all event related needs (i.e., prize distribution, etc.). Responds to all guest survey issues in an efficient and effective manner. Builds positive culture in casino cage operations and related areas to meet the company standards. Lead an organization with methods and actions that are ethical and in full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Company policies. Identify compliance risks and take actions necessary to eliminate or minimize risks. Champion, within the organization, a commitment to honesty, integrity, and responsible corporate behavior. Create a compliance culture within the organization and foster an environment where employees feel comfortable reporting potential violations or misconduct. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College degree in Finance, Business or related experience required. Minimum of five years progressive experience in supervising Casino Cage operations. Proven leadership experience in directing a large work unit. Strong knowledge on Casino Control Commission regulations. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. QUALIFICATIONS
