Insomniac is seeking a highly motivated self-starter who embodies both a passion for dance culture and a love of all things to do with ticketing operations and reporting. Job Summary Insomniac produces some of the most innovative, immersive music festivals and events in the world. The company is looking for a Ticketing Manager to oversee ticketing operations for assigned concerts and festivals, from the conception of an event until the gates close and the show is settled out. The Role The Ticketing Manager will report to the Ticketing Director day-to-day and to the Event Producer for on-site operations. Responsibilities Build and maintain ticketing pages from conception through to settlement for all assigned events, including layaway plans and second/third party allocations, as applicable Partner with promoters to proactively suggest additional revenue-driving opportunities, where appropriate Supply daily ticket counts, buyer reports, and upkeep information on internal tracking programs Generate custom reports in Excel as required by marketing, promoter, and other key stakeholders to provide insights that will drive key decision-making Process comp orders for community partners, sponsors, and other key groups as necessary Submit design tickets and purchase ticket inventory including wristbands, ancillary add-ons Manage on-site box office operations including advancing all necessary assets from internal and external groups, hiring and managing staff, setting up and tearing down in all weather conditions Create and adhere to operational budgets, forecast for all expenses and communicate changes in budget needs to producer team Ensure compliance to all Company policies and procedures in order to adhere to all audit programs, and ensure cash and credentials are protected from loss at all time Other duties as assigned Frequent travel will be required (economy) Qualifications Advanced knowledge of ticketing industry and platforms including Front Gate Tickets or similar (Ticketmaster, TicketWeb, Universe, Eventbrite) Advanced level of Microsoft Excel knowledge including experience with medium-complexity formulas (nested VLOOKUPs, COUNTIFs etc.), PivotTables, and other data manipulation tools to create custom reports and extract necessary information from large datasets 3+ years’ experience in large-scale festival production and operations Customer service experience in large-scale ticketed events Excellent organization, communication, and leadership skills Ability to multitask and handle last-minute changes with a calm demeanor Four-year college degree preferred Must be motivated with an “everything is possible” attitude and maintain positivity while working long days in dynamic environments Must be an active problem solver, instilled with a sense of urgency for projects large and small This role is not remote and is required to be on various site locations Work Environment Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments Must be able to lift 50lbs (bike rack, inventory boxes, tables, chairs, etc.) May work in drastic temperature climates Must be willing to travel to work during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines Equal Employment Opportunity Insomniac strongly supports equal employment opportunity for all applicants regardless of age, ancestry, color, religious creed, family and medical care leave, mental or physical disability, marital status, domestic partner status, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, political affiliation, national origin, citizenship, race, sex, gender identity, and gender expression, sexual orientation, intersectionality, or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Hiring Salary Range: $68,640.00 - 85,000.00 USD
