Electrical Engineer
– responsibilities include leading the design, development, and evaluation of complex electrical systems and components for the Live Event Industry. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical leadership, and contribute to projects that drive innovation and excellence in electrical engineering. Essential Responsibilities / Accountabilities
Design control systems which meet or exceed client specifications while providing maximum value for portable and fixed install clients. Work with a lead designer to or directly perform engineering analyses of electrical loads, component layout, and functional safety of the control system. Perform optimization and value engineering reviews of both existing and new equipment for improvements in manufacturing cost and efficiency. This includes researching and specifying components from industry manufacturers and re-using or modifying existing designs. Prepare bills of materials for finished electrical assemblies and assist in the procurement of outside vendor parts and services. Create finished electrical assembly and fabrication drawings, contribute to O&M manuals, and prepare final client submittal packages. Expand the application of emerging technologies for leading-edge controls technology. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures. Attend meetings, seminars, and training sessions as required. Perform assigned duties according to the policies and expectations prescribed by the company. Behavioral Competencies

BS in Electrical Engineering or Technical Theatre degree with emphasis in electrical design 2+ years in Electrical Design and Engineering or related field Intermediate CAD experience Knowledge/experience in: UL508A and NEC/NFPA concepts; industrial control systems (PLC and VFD); Beckhoff (a plus); Siemens (a plus) Working Conditions and Physical Effort
