LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing engineering services firm, and they are seeking a motivated
Electrical Project Engineer
to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of commercial, educational, and healthcare projects from concept through construction. Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering and design of electrical systems for a variety of building projects, ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards. Prepare detailed construction documents and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors. Conduct site visits during both design and construction phases to review and validate system installations. Foster strong, positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration. Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required. Professional Engineer (PE) license is strongly preferred; candidates with Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification and a clear plan to obtain PE licensure will also be considered. 10–15 years of progressive experience in the architecture/building industry, with a focus on electrical power system design, lighting, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit is essential. In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA 70, NFPA 72, International Energy Conservation Code, International Building Code, IES, IEEE, UL, and NECA. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and a passion for building lasting professional relationships. Experience with survey work is highly desirable. Compensation
Compensation Range:
$120,000 - $165,000 Benefits
