Join our team as an Electrical Project Engineer, where you’ll lead the engineering and design of diverse commercial, educational, and healthcare projects from initial concept through construction.
You’ll collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination and high-quality deliverables. Site visits during design and construction phases are expected to review systems and ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage engineering and design for commercial, educational, and healthcare projects.
Prepare construction documents and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
Maintain regular client contact and foster positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
Conduct site visits to review electrical systems during design and construction.
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
12–15 years of experience in electrical power system design, lighting, fire alarm systems, and other low-voltage systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 72, NFPA 99, NFPA 101, International Energy Conservation Code, International Building Code.
Familiarity with IES, IEEE, UL, and NECA standards as applied to the building industry.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to building positive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and colleagues.
