Audiologist - Alexandria LA at MRG Exams
Are you a Licensed Audiologist looking to take on an assessment role? This in-person role is focused on medical assessments for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
Role overview: The Audiologist will review veteran medical records in a computer portal, perform a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) to support VA disability decisions. The Audiologist will NOT prescribe medical treatments or devices. This position will review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Schedule: Part Time 2-3 days/week. This is an IN-PERSON position with 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes per patient. No evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales.
Responsibilities
Perform Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal.
Review veteran medical records uploaded into the portal during the appointment.
Conduct assessments for 3-6 Veterans per day on average.
Work in person with a schedule of 2-3 days per week; 1 hour to 1.5 hours per patient; no evenings, on-call, or weekends; no hearing aid sales.
Audiologist will not prescribe medical treatments or devices.
Requirements
Au.D and graduation from an ASHA Accredited program.
Current license as an Audiologist.
