MRG Exams . This position involves performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. The Veteran’s medical records are reviewed in a computer portal during the appointment. You will conduct a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the computer portal to form the medical evidence used by the VA to determine benefits. This is an IN-PERSON position with the following schedule details: part time 2-3 days/week; 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes per patient; no evenings, no on-call, no weekends, no hearing aid sales. Responsibilities include reviewing records, administering tests, and documenting findings to support VA disability determinations. Important note : Audiologists will NOT prescribe any medical treatments or devices. Estimated workload: review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day on average. Responsibilities
Review veteran medical records uploaded into the portal during appointments. Perform Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric testing. Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) in the portal. Provide medical evidence to support VA disability determinations. Do not prescribe medical treatments or devices. Assess an average of 3-6 Veterans per day. Qualifications
Au.D degree and graduation from an ASHA-accredited school. Current license as an Audiologist. Benefits
