Lead Electrical design for water/wastewater projects Provide technical guidance on client standards and expectations to engineering and technician staff in regional design centers Serve as technical expert in electrical power distribution and miscellaneous plant electrical systems for client consultations Support business development related to enhanced Electrical services Build business relationships with clients to understand needs and drivers Additional project opportunities include: studies on energy optimization, power system coordination and arc flash/hazard analysis; construction inspection; coordination with local utilities; review of supplier submittals; liaison between local and remote design teams for Instrumentation and Control design; startup and testing of major electrical equipment. Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Professional Engineer's license in KS, MO, or another US jurisdiction 5-8 years in electrical design, planning and construction services Consulting and Water/Wastewater experience preferred Experience with medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, VFDs, standby diesel generators Understanding of PLC hardware/software, network configuration, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation and fiber optics Experience in a client-facing/business development role Power system analysis experience in SKM, ETAP, or other software a plus Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program. Minimum of 5 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search in compliance with applicable laws.
