The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following: Conceptualize unique and complex vertical lifting solutions and create detailed mechanical product designs using 3D CADD software Apply expertise in structural steel design, hydraulics, and power transmission to develop practical and effective solutions Conduct mechanical analysis, including FEA and dynamic analysis, to ensure designs meet all customer and regulatory requirements Collaborate with a small project group to contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise for complex projects Convert verbal and written customer information into precise, high-quality engineering drawings and models The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 3+ years of mechanical design experience in a fabrication, heavy equipment, or related manufacturing environment 3+ years of experience with SolidWorks, FEA, and dynamic analysis software 2+ years of experience utilizing PDM and ERP systems A strong understanding of hydraulic power systems, structural steel design, and mechanical power transmission Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card
