PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist position at Texas Health Allen Job ID: 24008097 Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North TX 75013 Work hours: PRN, Call and Holiday Coverage Responsibilities
Explain procedures to patient or guardian/family prior to exam Position patient to correct anatomical area of interest Perform complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age related factors Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique Maintain attention to details Process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed Utilize proper downtime procedures for PACS and HIS/RIS Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine OR Associate's Degree preferred 2 years in Nuclear Medicine preferred ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Nuclear Medicine Upon Hire Req OR CNMT - Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist NMTCB Upon Hire Req AND CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB Upon Hire Req AND BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req Department Highlights
