What You’ll Do As a Nurse, you’ll become an essential part of our community-based group homes for adults with complex medical needs, developmental disabilities, acquired brain injury and/or mental illness. Our homes house 3-8 individuals each providing an opportunity to build relationships with those that you care for and their families.
Medical & Medication Oversight - Manage medical care and medications for persons served, including training staff on safe medication practices in compliance with DPH Medication Administration Program (MAP). You may be asked to become certified in MAP during your first 6 months.
Crisis Intervention - Respond to emergencies and de-escalate crises with persons served.
Staff Training - Train staff on health/safety rules and document incidents as required.
Compliance - Keep programs up to date with medical and medication laws, including paperwork and inspections.
What You Bring
Required:
Active LPN license in MA, driver’s license, and reliable car.
Preferred:
Active RN license in MA, driver's license, and reliable car.
Experience: Supporting mental health needs (personal or professional).
Skills: Clear communication, basic computer use, and teamwork.
Language: Must be fluent in English, Multilingual a bonus!
