Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
License Requirement
License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York
Education and Experience
Doctor of Pharmacy degree; or Master’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience; or Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience.
Notes
Incumbents must be credentialed as a member of the organization Medical Staff (Allied Health Professional) within four months of date of hire as a condition of continued employment. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 of the following: Completed PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Board certified In the process of completion of PGY2 Pharmacy Specialty Residency Program Experience in all 3 of the following:1. 3+ years of work experience in a position of Clinical Pharmacist Specialist (PGY1 Pharmacy Residency accounted for 3 years of clinical experience Experience in of the following: Contributions to scholar activities (within the last 3 years) such as research, publications, and poster presentation. Experience in developing programs contributing to pharmacy practice and patient safety and experience.
